A debate with different points of view
A municipal meeting recently took place at Sant Feliu Town Hall. During the session, several issues were debated that generated opposing opinions between the different political parties and the non-affiliated councilor. Despite the differences, unanimous approvals were also given on some points.
Withdrawal of initial approval for the Emergency and Primary Care Center
One of the topics that generated more debate was the withdrawal of the initial approval of the file to transfer to the Catalan Health Service the space where the Emergency and Primary Care Center (CUAP) will be built. This decision contrasted the views of the different political parties. However, no agreement was reached and the item was withdrawn from the agenda.
Expropriation of niches in the Municipal Cemetery
Another topic that generated debate was a motion presented by the citizen Mr. Cano on the expropriation of niches in the Municipal Cemetery. This proposal also generated opposing opinions among the plenary members. Despite this, an agreement was reached and the motion passed unanimously.
Other topics discussed
In addition to the two topics mentioned above, other points were discussed during the session. Among these, maintenance problems at the Miquel Martí i Pol School, the improvement of social services in the municipalities of Catalonia and a modification of credits for the financing of the AMBici were discussed.
Conclusions
In summary, the Sant Feliu municipal meeting was a space for debate with diverse and opposing opinions. However, unanimous approvals were also given on some points. The most prominent issues were the withdrawal of the initial approval for the Emergency and Primary Care Center and the expropriation of niches in the Municipal Cemetery.
