A realistic vision for a national future: the CUP’s proposal for the Catalan elections of 12-M

A new vision for Catalonia

The CUP presents a realistic and feasible proposal to advance nationally, moving away from the approach of magical independence. In this sense, the formation is committed to a ‘new economy’ that prioritizes the well-being of the majority of the population, which they revealed in a meeting with the press this Thursday.

The materialization of the proposal

The new economy results in the appropriation of strategic resources to build sovereignty. Likewise, a shock plan is proposed to ensure that public services are truly public, without hybrid public-private models. This vision also excludes macro projects and focuses on ecological transformation, the nationalization of essential and strategic sectors, as well as the redistribution of wealth.

Goals and vision for the future

The CUP seeks to guarantee essential rights for the majority of the population, which they currently perceive as privileges reserved for the few. This approach, despite not fitting into the framework of the Spanish state, aims to lay the foundations for universal basic income and public pharmaceuticals, culminating in the ‘rupture’ of the 1978 regime.

Electoral budget

The CUP has made public its electoral budget, which considerably reduces the funds allocated to the campaign compared to previous elections. This decision highlights the party’s commitment to efficient and responsible economic management.
