Benjamí Nieto renounces being a candidate and cedes his place to the head of the PDeCAT list

A personal and work decision

The leader Benjamí Nieto has announced that he will not head the PDeCAT list in the next municipal elections in Manlleu for work reasons, stating that he cannot fully dedicate himself to the municipality. He has decided to give his place to another candidate.

Commitment to the new project

Despite the resignation, Nieto has expressed his availability to collaborate with the new head of the list, considering it important that the members of the previous legislature participate in the new political project of the PDeCAT in Manlleu.

Albert Pérez, the new leader

Albert Pérez, labor adviser and former member of Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, will be the one to head the candidacy for the mayor of Manlleu by PDeCAT. With a career linked to the educational and local associative field, Pérez takes on the political challenge without having held positions before.
