Holy Week in Sant Llorenç

The parish of Sant Llorenç is approaching the celebration of Holy Week with a series of religious events that will take place from March 24 to April 7.

Blessing of Palms and Chrism Mass

The celebration will begin with the blessing of Rams in Plaça de la Vila on Sunday, March 24 at 12 noon. On Wednesday the 27th, at 11 am, the Chrism Mass will take place in the Cathedral of Sant Llorenç.

Thursday and Good Friday events

On Maundy Thursday, at 7 p.m., the Eucharist of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated in the Cathedral. On Good Friday, at 6 p.m., the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ will be celebrated in the Cathedral, followed by a Stations of the Cross at 8 p.m. in Plaça de la Vila.

Easter Vigil Mass and Easter Celebrations

The Easter Vigil mass will take place on Saturday at 9:30 pm in the Cathedral. On Easter Sunday, two Eucharists will be celebrated, one at noon and another at 7 p.m., and another at 11 a.m. on Easter Monday.

Easter parish gathering

On Sunday, April 7, the parish Easter gathering will take place with a mass at 12 noon in the Cathedral, followed by the community reunion and the candies singing on the Sant Llorenç beach.
