The Caixa Manlleu Basketball Tournament reaches a new record number of entries
The 24th Caixa Manlleu Basketball Tournament, which will be held on August 29, 30 and 31, has closed registrations with a record number of participants. In total, 201 teams have registered, surpassing last year’s 192 (https://www.softcatala.org/resum-de-textos-en-catala/). This tournament is known for bringing the best pre-season basketball to the pavilion in Sant Julià de Vilatorta and other towns in the region.
A tournament of quality and diverse origins
According to Miquel Sans, a member of the Tournament’s organization, participation has increased both in number and in quality and origin. Participating teams come from different regions and cities, bringing great diversity to the tournament.
A complete experience for participants
In addition to the basketball games, the Caixa Manlleu Basketball Tournament offers a complete experience for the participants. During the three days of competition, lunches will be served in a tent attached to the Sant Julià pavilion, where all registered teams and volunteers in the organization can eat there. Calendar of ACB preseason games
On Friday evening, Club Básquet Vic de LEB Or will face Vive Menorca. A day later, Menorca will play against Futbol Club Barcelona. Finally, on Sunday it will be the turn of DKV Joventut against Ricoh Manresa. All matches will be played at the Sant Julià pavilion at 2:40 p.m. Tickets will cost 12 euros at the box office and 10 euros in advance (https://www.softcatala.org/resum-de-textos-en-catala/).
