Special Contributions and Redevelopment
In today’s session of the Manresa Municipal Council, the special contributions for the redevelopment of Carrer Àngel Guimerà and its surroundings have been approved, which will have to be paid for by the owners of houses and commercial premises.
Details of Contributions
In the six specific segments for the works, the individuals and companies affected will have to contribute 30% of the total cost of the action, excluding the connecting spaces. This represents 1,406,669.40 euros of the total of 4,760,196.64 euros of the action.
Increase in Value
According to the City Council’s technical study, a possible increase in value of 7.47% is expected for residential properties and 17.94% for commercial premises on the ground floor.
Schedule of Payments
The special contributions will be made effective in four bands, each 25% of the total: at the start of the works, at 30% of the execution, at 60% of the execution and at the end of the works. The execution period for each segment is 22 months.

The budgets for the different sections of the action vary, from Carrer d’Àngel Guimerà to Carrer del Bruc, with specific amounts allocated for special contributions according to each segment.
