A theater cycle for everyone
L’Armentera has started a theater cycle that stands out for its inclusivity and accessibility. This cycle, which began with great success with the public last week with the work Sempreviva by the Grop company, aims to bring the theater closer to all the inhabitants of the municipality and encourage the participation of different groups.
A varied and quality proposal
The Armentera theater cycle offers a diverse and high-quality programme. In addition to professional plays, local theater groups are also given the opportunity to participate in this initiative. This makes it possible to give visibility to the talents of the community and strengthen the cultural fabric of the municipality.
A space for everyone
The performances take place in the Sala Nova, a space that has been equipped and prepared to host this theater cycle. The Armentera City Council has made several improvements to the hall, such as the installation of a light bar and the painting of the interior and exterior. This creates the right atmosphere to enjoy the plays and guarantees a rewarding experience for all attendees.
A commitment to local culture
The Armentera theater cycle also aims to give importance to the local theater group, Maisomtots Teatre. This group will close the cycle with the play Oh…Paris, a proposal that promises to surprise and excite the public. The Councilor for Culture, Elvira Fàbrega, highlights the great passion for the performing arts in the municipality and the importance of fostering and enhancing this passion.
A guaranteed success
The success of the theatrical work scheduled during the last major festival has been one of the factors that has driven the creation of this theater cycle. The good reception by the public has shown that there is a demand and an interest in this type of cultural events. With this initiative, Armentera is consolidating itself as a benchmark in the world of local and inclusive theatre.
