A concert with a Cuban flavor in honor of Ernesto Lecuona
El Mussol Jazz Club presents the last concert of the March International Series. This concert will take place on Thursday March 21 and will be a unique opportunity to enjoy Cuban music and pay tribute to Maestro Ernesto Lecuona, one of the great artists of the 20th century from the Caribbean island. Lecuona, known for his compositions like ‘Siboney’, ‘Malagueña’ and ‘Siempre en mi corazón’, will be remembered in this special concert entitled ‘Lecuona, the color of Cuba’. The musicians Antía Couto and Alexey León, with their talent and passion for music, will interpret these masterpieces with a new perspective. Couto, an acclaimed Galician pianist, will play the piano with great skill and sensitivity, while León, a virtuoso Cuban saxophonist, will accompany the melodies with his sax or flute, recreating the human voice with his music.
