Malenia Alterio and her experience in nightclubs during her time in Here there is no one who lives

Malenia Alterio’s experience in nightclubs during her participation in Here there is no one who lives

Malenia Alterio, renowned Spanish actress, recently revealed in an interview the reason why she stopped performing ‘bowling’ during her time in the successful television series Here there is no one who lives. During those years, due to the popularity of the program, she was presented with various opportunities to attend clubs and easily earn money by taking photos with the attendees.

In her first experience in Valencia, Malenia encountered an unexpected situation. Arriving at the nightclub in the early hours of the morning, she was escorted by two bodyguards across an esplanade full of cars. As she passed by, she encountered people in a state of intoxication who wanted to take photos with her shouting ‘Belén, Belén!’. Despite her initial surprise, the actress managed to maintain her composure and went up to the DJ area to greet the audience present.

An unforgettable experience

Malenia Alterio described the experience as something unique and, despite the difficulties, she managed to enjoy those moments. However, she decided not to continue holding these types of events after that night in Valencia. Despite having two more nightclubs booked, she only agreed to do them if she could be accompanied by a colleague from the series.

On her last night of ‘bowling’, Malenia brought with her Edu Gómez, who played Mariano in the series. Edu distributed autographed photos to those in attendance, while Malenia said goodbye to that chapter in her career. The actress fondly remembered Edu, highlighting his sense of humor and the happiness that she transmitted to him at those events.

A final decision

Malenia Alterio concluded the interview by stating that she would not hold this type of event again. Although the experience was unique, she decided to focus on other projects and leave those days of ‘bowling’ in nightclubs behind. Her participation in Aqui no hay qui viva provided her with recognition and opportunities, but it also taught her the importance of choosing projects that align with her values and professional goals.
