With the arrival of spring, the Week of Poetry emerges, a consolidated celebration that reaches its thirteenth edition. This event, which often goes a little unnoticed, continues to establish itself as an underground adventure for lovers of poetry and art in general. Despite its 10-day duration, Poetry Week does not seek massification, but remains a tolerated proposition, keeping alive the question about the nature of art and its inevitable presence in our everyday lives.
Highlights of the Event
Inauguration of the Exhibitions “Racons de Recerca” and “L’Art No Existeix”
The Week began with the openings of the “Research Corners” and “Art Does Not Exist” exhibitions. These exhibitions offered a unique insight into art and raised questions about its existence, all while exploring the limits and frontiers of artistic expression.
Tribute to Chavela Vargas and Poetry and Wine Tasting
One of the highlights was the quiet tribute to the great Chavela Vargas, who captivated the audience with her elegance and voice, accompanied by exquisite musical arrangements. In addition, the traditional poetry and wine tasting offered a unique experience, combining the poetry of Wislawa Szymborska with a selection of wines and tapas, creating a sensory journey for the soul and palate of the attendees.
Musical-Poetic Recitals and Shows
The Week continued with a series of recitals and musical-poetic shows, covering a wide range of styles and themes. From indie music with poetic connections to poetry in the form of music, the event offered a variety of proposals for all tastes and ages.

Despite budget limitations, Poetry Week has maintained its quality and achieved a good turnout. It is hoped that in future editions it will be possible to recover the institutional support for this event, which has consolidated itself as an unmissable appointment in the Baix Llobregat.
