Stellantis bets on electric vehicles with different brands

Citroen, Opel, Peugeot, Fiat and Jeep are expanding their range of EV options

Stellantis, the automotive group that brings together several European brands, has made a clear commitment to one hundred percent electric vehicles. Thus, it is not surprising that in recent months it has increased its offer of EV options in its various catalogs. This is a way to respond to the growing demand for this type of vehicle in some markets and to prepare for future environmental regulations.

However, the Stellantis group knows that not all countries have the same rate of adoption of electric vehicles and that, for example, Spain still has a long way to go. For this reason, it does not give up on offering different products that adapt to the needs and preferences of each customer. But it also continues to work to position its electric vehicles in our market.

Electric quadricycles, a different alternative for urban mobility

One of the most original and interesting proposals offered by Stellantis are the electric quadricycles, vehicles that do not require a driving license and are designed to move around the city in a safe, comfortable and sustainable way. This is a solution that may be attractive to those looking for an alternative to motorbikes or public transport.

Stellantis has different brands that market these electric quadricycles, such as the Citroën AMI, the Fiat Topolino and the Opel e-Rocks. Although it is the same vehicle, each brand gives a distinctive and personal touch to its design. Thus, the customer can choose what he likes best or fits his style.

The Citroën AMI, an electric quadricycle with personality

The Citroën AMI is one of the most well-known and recognizable electric quadricycles on the market. It has a square and symmetrical shape, with very small dimensions that allow it to park and circulate easily. Its interior is simple but functional, with space for two people and some compartments to store objects.

The Citroën AMI has an 8 horsepower electric motor and a battery that gives it a range of 75 kilometers. Its maximum speed is 45 km/h, which makes it suitable for driving in urban areas, but not for expressways or interurban roads. One of its great attractions is its price, since with the aid of the Government it can be purchased for less than 8,000 euros. In addition, its maintenance and consumption costs are very low.

At the moment, the Citroën AMI has not been a great success in Spain, but it may be that with time and with the increasing restrictions on combustion vehicles, it will increase its presence in our cities. It’s a different and fun option for urban mobility.
