The Google Developers Group of Lleida
The Google Developers Group (GDG) of Lleida is a community dedicated to the dissemination of technology. Based in the ICT laboratories of the Agrobiotech Park, this group has been working for fourteen years on the creation and implementation of events, workshops, talks and conferences with the aim of disseminating technological advances to both a general and a specific audience.
Google recognition
According to Google data from the year 2023, the GDG of Lleida has been recognized as the most active community group in Europe. They have reached more than eleven thousand people, surpassing the records of cities such as Madrid, London, Munich, Paris or Amsterdam. This recognition highlights the group’s work in areas such as artificial intelligence and the promotion of women in the world of technology.
A group committed to technological diffusion
The GDG Lleida is made up of between eight and ten professionals who actively participate in the creation and organization of activities. This group was born as a result of a specific project for the technological giant about the Google Earth information program. Since then, they have worked constantly to spread technological advances and encourage community participation in this area.
