The impact of contemporary art in Sant Feliu

A unique experience in Sant Feliu

Last Thursday, March 14, I had the opportunity to visit two contemporary art exhibitions at Palau Falguera in Sant Feliu. These exhibitions, which are part of the XIII Poetry Week, are a unique opportunity for all lovers of art and culture.

The art that makes us think

In the lower room of Palau Falguera, you can admire the exhibition entitled “The essence of art” by local artist Roger Romagosa. This exhibition invites us to reflect on the meaning of art and how we perceive it. With realistic photographs of Sant Feliu, Romagosa transports us to a world where everything we see becomes a work of art. Accompanying the photographs, there are texts that make us question our own perception of reality.

The power of paint

In the upper room of Palau Falguera, there is the exhibition “Racones de recerca” by the artist Roman Bonet. This exhibition shows us a collection of oil paintings that captivate the viewers’ attention. With technique and thematic sincerity, Bonet portrays landscapes and faces of Sant Vicenç dels Horts. His paintings transport us to a world of sensations and make us reflect on the power of painting as a means of artistic expression.

Art as a mirror of our reality

Both Roger Romagosa’s and Roman Bonet’s exhibitions invite us to reflect on how we look at and perceive the world around us. Contemporary art offers us a unique opportunity to get out of our mental box and explore new perspectives. These exhibitions in Sant Feliu are a sample of the diversity and richness of current art.

Conclusion

Contemporary art has a significant impact in Sant Feliu. The exhibitions at Palau Falguera invite us to reflect, to question ourselves and to explore new ways of seeing the world. These artistic experiences enrich us and make us aware of the importance of art in our society.
