The inauguration of Casa Salesas: a disappointing experience

A new restaurant with promises

The opening party of Casa Salesas, Íñigo Onieva’s restaurant, promised to be the most outstanding event in Madrid. An exclusive place, created by the most select owners, with a VIP clientele and reviews that praised their service from day one. Everything seemed perfect for an unforgettable dining experience.

A disappointing reality

But, after a few days of its opening, reality began to blur the initial promises. Google ratings, which initially awarded the restaurant 5 stars, began to plummet. Customers began to express their disappointment with the excessive prices and the quality of food that did not live up to expectations.

A controversy that does not end

In addition to problems with food prices and quality, Casa Salesas was involved in a controversy related to waste management. The residents of the Justícia neighborhood reported the accumulation of garbage outside the containers, a situation that affected the reputation of the restaurant. The images of the waste accumulated in the street generated great indignation.

A reputation at stake

Casa Salesas’ reputation continued to deteriorate when it was revealed that the restaurant was not properly recycling waste. This lack of commitment to the environment was heavily criticized. In addition, the lack of transparency and responsiveness on the part of the restaurant owners led to further mistrust among customers and the general public.

An uncertain future

With all these accumulated problems, the future of Casa Salesas is uncertain. The restaurant has lost the trust of customers and created a bad reputation that will be difficult to overcome. It’s a shame to see an initially exciting promise turn into a disappointment for everyone involved.
