The mystery of the moon: Reflections on distance and longing

The moon as a symbol of loneliness

On the darkest nights, the moon appears as an enigmatic figure, spinning on its own axis as it orbits a mysterious core. This sky dancer, with an aura that evokes the deep forests, seems to be caught in a dilemma: continue on her way or stop to consider what she leaves behind.

A look that speaks

Watching her, the moon offers me a silent connection, a look that seems to understand my concerns. Her eyes, reminiscent of wild nature, reflect the confusion that consumes her. The marks of their journey, visible in the form of craters and valleys, are evidence of a world that has undergone profound transformations.

The feeling of impossibility

As the moon advances, I feel it recede, as if its presence, which had been a beacon in my life, becomes more and more ethereal. My intention to be a support for her becomes a burden, and the distance that separates us increases, perhaps without her being fully aware of it.

A desire for reconnection

With a heart full of desire, I call out to the moon, waiting for their gazes to meet again. Its softness, the echo of its presence, is slowly fading away. With each passing night, its light seems more distant, and the anguish of its absence becomes an echo that resonates within me.

A trip without return?

I stare into infinity, wondering if the moon will ever want to return, if it will ever want to share its brightness with my little world again. Their dance in the firmament, increasingly frantic, reminds me that distance is not only physical, but also emotional.

The inevitability of choice

My hope of building a bridge to the moon is an illusion; your decision to return or not is entirely yours. As I watch her disappear into the vast ocean of stars, I understand that the beauty of her mystery lies in her freedom. And so, I am left with my longing, with the desired promise of a future meeting that, perhaps, one day will take place.
