Since its launch in 2004, the Picanto has stood out as one of Kia’s most popular models worldwide, with more than one million units sold, including 80,000 in Spain. With its renewal, the Picanto continues to be a preferred option in the A segment, especially for those who value practicality on short trips and limited parking spaces.
Design and style
The renewed Picanto presents a series of aesthetic changes, new functions and advanced technologies, while maintaining its compact size of 3.6 meters in total length. Its design is inspired by Kia’s Opposites United philosophy, achieving a harmonious, daring and futuristic image, with a subtly sporty touch.
Visual Features
The vehicle stands out for its light bands on the front and rear, especially in the GT-line version, which also includes specific 16-inch wheels. Additionally, it is offered in nine colors, including four new options: Signal Red, Smoke Blue, Sporty Blue and Adventurous Green.
Custom Interior
The cabin offers different finishes, from black cloth seats in the basic version to synthetic leather upholstery and gloss black finishes in the GT-line variant. Standard equipment includes a 4.2-inch digital instrument panel and an 8″ central touch screen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as a wireless mobile charger.
Performance and Security
The Picanto offers two petrol engine options, 1.0 or 1.2 liters, which prioritize efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions. In addition, it has advanced safety systems, such as assistance to avoid frontal collisions, emergency braking, blind spot vehicle detection, among others.
Connectivity and Comfort
The Picanto’s connectivity includes services such as real-time traffic information, weather forecasts, voice recognition, OTA updates and last mile navigation. In addition, it offers a price range between 16,527 euros and 21,435 euros, with a seven-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty.
