On April 3, the storm’s cultural space opened its doors with a literary presentation that did not leave anyone indifferent. Xavier Duran shared his work ‘The next day yesterday’ (Edicions de l’Albí) in an event led by the philologist and poet Angela Ribas, who offered a deep analysis of the novel. This science fiction work stands out for its innovative narrative structure, which transports readers to a journey through time, between 1870 and 2040, exploring how technological advances have transformed human relationships and society.

The next day, on April 4, a ‘Book Tasting’, an activity led by Violeta Caballol, school librarian, and Mireia Sala, a teacher specializing in children’s and youth literature. With enthusiasm, they presented a selection of attractive readings for the youth, thus preparing the ground for the festival of Sant Jordi.

Anniversary full of music and poetry

On Sunday, April 6, the storm celebrated its first anniversary with a memorable party. At noon, the Duet La Trup, formed by Glòria Tàpia and Alexis Cabrillana, filled the space with recognized melodies, offering a well -received performance to the public. The celebration continued in the afternoon with the poetic recital ‘That they thunder verses!’, Directed by Olga Molina and Sònia Moya, where attendees had the opportunity to share their own verses or recite works by other authors. With a vibrant atmosphere, the Cafeteria-Libreria became a nucleus of creativity and artistic expression.

Exploring deep topics

On April 10, Elisenda Solsona presented his novel ‘Mammalia’ (Editorial Males Herbes), in the company of Alba del Villar, a well -known literary prescriber. This work addresses complex themes such as fertility and maternal dynamics, as well as the devastating effects that family secrets may have when they come to light, thus offering a necessary reflection on human relationships.

A April full of activities

The April program will continue on the 23rd with a book stop in honor of Sant Jordi’s Day.
