The Volvo EX30 triumphs in Europe

The phenomenon of the Volvo EX30 to Europe

After learning all the details of one of Volvo’s big guns for European roads, the EX30, many were confident that this electric would become quite a sales phenomenon in Europe. Although it is not a budget model, its positioning as a gateway to electrics from the Swedish brand, together with its technology and qualities, make it an attractive option for many drivers in Europe.

During the month of March, the Volvo EX30 managed to place itself in the top three of the best-selling electric cars in Europe, demonstrating the success of this model in the European market.

Competing with the market leaders

This achievement is particularly noteworthy considering that the top two positions in the ranking are occupied by Tesla’s best-selling models, the Model Y and the Model 3. Despite the differences in sales figures, with the Model Y leading the way with more than 26,000 sales, followed by the Model 3 with more than 11,000, the Volvo EX30 has achieved more than 7,500 sales, beating other models such as the Peugeot 208, the MG4 and the Volkswagen ID.4.

Swedish brand recognition

The third position of the Volvo EX30 is interpreted as a victory for the Swedish brand, demonstrating its ability to compete successfully in the European electric car market.

Other Volvo successes in Europe

In addition to the Volvo EX30, the XC40 in its 100% electric version has achieved excellent reception, placing in fifth position with more than 5000 registrations, strengthening Volvo’s presence in the European electric car market.
