A new opportunity
The building, in the beginning, had to be an ambitious hotel complex. However, the works stopped and the structure remained unfinished for years. Now, thanks to a project change, this building has a promising future.
A change of use
Initially, it was intended to build a hotel, but now it has been considered more suitable to convert it into flats. A change of use has been obtained and work is expected to begin shortly.
An exploited structure
The project will take advantage of the already built structure of the building, but with a different layout. The construction of more than 80 flats is planned, which will initially be intended for sale, but the possibility of allocating some to rent is not ruled out.
A near future
According to the plans, the works are expected to last about two years, so the building is expected to be completed in 2026. This will be the second building of this type to be completed in the parish of Encamp, thanks to the new possibilities offered by the construction regulations.
