Barcelona is filled with commemorative events

During the 50th anniversary of the death of Salvador Puig Antich, Barcelona is filled with events commemorating the last murder carried out by the Franco regime. From the 2nd to the 7th of March, the city will be full of events that encompass everything from music to theatre, through film screenings and poetry recitals, by artists committed to historical memory such as Lluís Llach.

Commitment to memory through arts and culture

The organizers and managers of the events claim to be very committed and claim to “work to keep memory alive through the arts and culture”, especially with regard to the new generations that are beginning to join the contemporary social discourses.
