The chef surprises again with his live cooking at the Virens restaurant
After the great success of the first edition, Rodrigo de la Calle is once again offering his show cooking show, or live cooking, at the Virens restaurant, located in the Hotel Almanac Barcelona. This time, the chef has prepared some novelties that will delight his followers: from January, there will be two dates available each month to enjoy this unique gastronomic experience.
An amazing and creative tasting menu
Rodrigo de la Calle and his team have designed a tasting menu that combines innovation and tradition, with fresh and seasonal ingredients. The dishes are a sample of his cooking philosophy, based on respect for the product and sustainability. The diner will not know the menu until he arrives at the restaurant, as the chef proposes a blind dinner, where the surprise factor will play a key role.
An opportunity to interact with the chef
The cooking show will start at eight in the evening and will last approximately two hours. Attendees will be able to see up close how Rodrigo de la Calle and his team prepare and cook the dishes at the Virens bar, while they are told the secrets and curiosities of their kitchen. In addition, they will be able to start a conversation with the chef and ask him questions about his work and his career.
Confirmed dates and how to book
The confirmed dates for Rodrigo de la Calle’s cooking show are: January 24 and 25, February 21 and 22 and March 13 and 14. The number of places is limited (10 people maximum per session).
