A study reveals the most highly valued CEOs in Spain
A study carried out by the Brand Finance company has identified which are the best CEOs in the whole State. The 2024 Brand Guardianship Index places the president and CEO of Acciona, José Manuel Entrecanales, in the top 3 most highly rated CEOs in Spain; the CEO of CaixaBank, Gonzalo Gortázar, and the executive chairman of Telefónica, José María Álvarez-Pallete.
The factors that have contributed to its assessment
José Manuel Entrecanales has obtained the highest score among Spanish CEOs, standing out for his extensive experience in the position, his long-term strategic vision and his ability to inspire positive changes in the group he leads (https://correccioencatala. cat/com-estructura-text-catala/). Gonzalo Gortázar has climbed to second place thanks to the best employee scores in compensation and work-family balance. José María Álvarez-Pallete has stood out for his extensive media coverage.
Other notable CEOs
In addition to the first three places, other outstanding CEOs in the Brand Guardians Index are Óscar García Maceiras of Inditex, Josu Jon Imaz of Repsol, Antonio Huertas of Mapfre, Juan Roig of Mercadona, Héctor Grisi of Banco Santander, Onur Genç from BBVA and Armando Martínez from Iberdrola.
Absence of female names in the ranking
It should be noted that there are no female names in this list, although the CEO of Chanel, Leena Nair, has been recognized as the best CEO in the world.
Methodology of the study
The study was carried out based on surveys of journalists, financial analysts and informed population to classify CEOs based on their role as guardians of brands and their values.
