The Fair, a celebration for everyone organized by Esplai Sant Llorenç

A day full of activities and fun in Plaça 8 de March

Esplai Sant Llorenç invites you to participate in La Fera, a party open to all citizens that is in its sixth edition. Next Saturday, March 2, you can enjoy different proposals for all ages in Plaça 8 de March. The party will start at 11:30 am with the music of the Tronats percussion group and will continue with activities designed for the little ones. At 12 p.m., DJ Mariam will set the pace for the day and, from 2 p.m., the popular lunch will begin.

Four menus to choose from and book on the same day

This year’s Fair offers you four different menus; the first menu has a price of 16 euros and includes 12 calçots, 1 sausage, bread and coffee, the second menu is suitable for celiacs and has the same cost. The third menu is vegetarian and consists of 12 calçots, 1 boiled potato, 1 red pepper, bread and coffee for a price of 12 euros. Finally, the children’s menu costs 9 euros and includes macaroni with tomato and minced meat and can be requested gluten-free. Although the forms to reserve lunch have already been filled out, Oriol Martí, one of the organizers of La Fera, adds that “you can also reserve lunch on the same day”.

Prizes, bingo, baskets and performances for the afternoon

The party will continue after lunch with the presentation of prizes for the morning’s children’s games and, at 4 pm, bingo will begin. This year’s baskets, which will be handed out around 6:20 p.m. in the afternoon, have the collaboration of more than 25 shops and organizations throughout the city that will raffle tickets, products or discount vouchers. Among others, CineBaix, Llibreria Ossó, La Rústika, Workout Mas Lluí, Dot Salut or Farmàcia Taulé Martí are participating. Half an hour before knowing the winners of the paneras, the Blackout dance school will perform and during the afternoon DJ+3 and DJ Losa will perform. The party will close at 8 p.m. with the performance of the city’s batoners’ gang, Els Ceballuts.

The Fair is an economic campaign of Esplai Sant Llorenç. As Martí explains, the money collected will go “to this year’s summer camps and to the projects to celebrate the 50 years of the Esplai in 2026” and, from the organization, they are calling for the participation of the people of Sant Feliuen and santfeliuenques.
