Sagalés presents the first electrification of a bus line in Vallès Oriental
Sagalés has presented, at its headquarters in La Roca del Vallès, the first electrification of an interurban bus line in Vallès Oriental. This initiative aims to improve sustainable public mobility in the area, specifically on line 330, which connects the municipalities of Mollet del Vallès, Parets del Vallès, Lliçà de Vall and Granollers.
Features of the new service
The new 330 line service includes 3 new fully electric buses of the BYD brand, model B-13, with a length of 13.27 meters and capacity for 56 passengers. These buses are fully adapted for people with reduced mobility and have a wheelchair space. With two 150 kW motors on the rear axle, these vehicles have a range of around 300 km and run on 12 LFP (lithium-ferrophosphate) battery packs.
Improved user comfort
The new 330 line buses offer great comfort to users, with three independent air conditioning systems, USB ports in all seats to charge electronic devices and screens inside to inform users about stops and other relevant service information .
Environmental impact and charging infrastructure
The new electric vehicles of the 330 line will contribute to reducing the environmental impact, as they will travel around 80,000 km per year, consuming much less fuel and generating fewer polluting emissions. In addition, Sagalés has installed 3 Jema brand hose chargers, model SIGMA 150, with a power of 150 kW to charge vehicles efficiently and quickly.
Generation of renewable energy
To further reduce the environmental impact, Sagalés has installed solar panels at its headquarters with an energy production capacity of 20 kW. These plates will cover the supply needs of the ship’s general services, producing more than 17 MWh of energy per year.
