Communal officials towards the work area
This morning, different municipal officials moved to the area, with the Consul Major, Cerni Cairat, at the helm. Work on widening the voravia in that area had started but was stopped unexpectedly.
Current situation of the works
After the interruption of work, part of the platform had to be run over, causing material damage. Although the area is safe, one lane of the road has been closed and an alternative crossing regulated by a traffic light has been established. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes have also been banned.
Resumption of work and forecasts
The company in charge has resumed work and is working to secure the area. Consul Cairat has assured that the situation does not represent any serious risk and trusts that the area can be restored in the coming days.
