President Pere Aragonès will preside over Banco Sabadell’s annual 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year gala today, precisely the same day he will sign the call for early elections for next May 12.
Recognition of the Catalan industrial fabric
The awards recognize the contribution of the Catalan industrial fabric to the construction of a more equitable society for more than four decades.
Presence of authorities and representatives
The event will be attended by the president Pere Aragonès, the Minister of Economy, Natàlia Mas, the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, the delegate of the Government, Carlos Prieto, and the president of the Diputació de Barcelona, Lluïsa Moret, among other authorities. The main representatives of Prensa Ibérica, the publishing company of EMPORDÀ, will also attend.
Business representation
Around 300 representatives of companies, institutions and entities from Catalonia are expected to attend.

During the gala, several awards will be presented, such as Family Business, Business+Sustainable, Business+Innovative, Business+International, Business+Inclusive and Business+Industry 4.0.
Prestigious jury
The jury that awards the prizes is made up of personalities from the socio-economic field of Catalonia, such as Albert Castellanos, Aitor Moll, Sergi Guillot, Albert Sáez, Lluís López, Xavier Comerma, Jordi Romañach, Núria Burguera, Antoni Cañete, Ana Sesé, Salvador Guillermo, María Díaz, Josep Santacreu, Núria Rodríguez, Ángel Hermosilla, Xavier Gispert, Mar Galtés, Mercè Conesa and Joan Angulo.
