Employment Day in Torroella de Montgrí
The Economic Promotion Area of the Baix Empordà Regional Council and the Torroella de Montgrí Town Council have jointly organized the municipality’s first Employment Day. The aim of this day is to connect people looking for work with companies that have vacancies, with the hope of improving job placement and employability in the region.
140 jobs available
On this day, a total of 25 local companies offered 140 jobs in different sectors such as hospitality, catering, services, trades and industry. This job opportunity has attracted around 200 candidates who have participated in interviews with the companies’ human resources managers.
An opportunity for candidates and companies
The interviews, which lasted 10 to 15 minutes, allowed the candidates to interact with several companies in one place and in a short time. This has been beneficial both for the candidates, who have had the opportunity to meet different companies in a single morning, and for the companies, who have had the opportunity to meet several qualified candidates.
An initiative to promote employment
The Employment Day in Torroella de Montgrí is an initiative that seeks to promote employment in the region and improve the employment opportunities of the inhabitants. With the participation of several local companies and the collaboration of the Consell Comarcal del Baix Empordà and the Torroella de Montgrí Town Council, this event’s main objective is to contribute to the economic and social development of the area.
