Muro hosts its Gastronomic Fair: A Feast of Flavors and Music

Dates and Place: An Unforgettable Weekend

Between October 4 and 6, Muro is transformed into a gastronomic epicenter with the 19th edition of its Trade Fair, which will take place in the iconic El Matzem square. This fair, which has been gaining in popularity over the years, will attract both local producers and traders from the surrounding areas.

An Event of Tradition and Innovation

This fair is not only a market for local products, but has become a true celebration of the agri-food culture of the Valencian Community. The initial objective of promoting local artisans has expanded with the increase in the number of participants, becoming an event expected by both residents and tourists.

A Wide Gastronomic Variety

Attendees will be able to enjoy a rich gastronomic offer that will include traditional tapas, sandwiches, artisan sausages, and even a selection of sweets and local drinks such as craft beers and spirits. This diversity promises to satisfy all palates, with options for all tastes.

Musical Entertainment and Activities for Everyone

In addition to the rich gastronomic offer, the weekend will be marked by live musical performances. The opening of the fair will begin on Friday at 7pm with a concert by local singer Cactus, who promises to liven up the atmosphere. Traditional music will also have its place with the participation of the group of dolçainers and tabaleteers La Xafigà.

An Invitation to Meet Muro

The Councilor for Tourism, Carolina Iváñez, encourages everyone to visit Muro during this special weekend. “We have worked to make Plaça del Matzem a meeting place to enjoy the flavors of our land and get to know the richness of our local commerce”, highlights Iváñez, underlining the importance of making this fair an inclusive event for all the ages

A Bright Future for the Gastronomic Fair

With the increase in visitors year after year, the Fira Gastronòmica de Muro is consolidating itself as an essential appointment in the community’s calendar. Its ability to unite gastronomy, culture and music makes it an example of how local traditions can evolve and adapt to new generations.
