The Profile of Oriol Bossa i Prades

Oriol Bossa i Prades was born in Sant Feliu de Llobregat on May 28, 1980. He graduated in Political Science and Administration from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and holds a Master’s in Political Analysis from the Open University of Catalonia. His political career began in 2003 with his affiliation to ERC in Sant Feliu, where he served as president of the local section from 2011 to 2015. Since 2015, he has served as a councilor in the ‘Ajuntament de Sant Feliu and held the position of mayor during 2022 until the elections of May 2023, where they lost the mayorship. Currently, ERC represents the second strength of the council.

Assessment of the New Government and Political Actions

After 9 months of the formation of the new government (PSC-TTSF-VxSF), Oriol Bossa i Prades has expressed a negative assessment. He has expressed the perception of an unenthusiastic government, highlighting an oppositionist attitude during the plenums and a policy of confrontation.
