Police intervention and recent arrests in Catalonia

Police intervention

According to the official statement, a police patrol acted in a prevention service outside a leisure venue. In this context, they asked a group of people to leave the area to avoid further conflicts. Most of them cooperated, but one person reacted aggressively and disproportionately, disobeying the officers’ instructions and even threatening them with death. He was also found to be in possession of 2.1 grams of hashish.

Recent Arrests

Last Sunday, in Sant Julià de Lòria, a 43-year-old man was arrested for an alleged crime against physical and moral integrity, after assaulting his partner in the home they shared in the presence of their minor daughter.

In addition, several alcohol and drug-related arrests have been made in recent days. Three people aged between 19 and 29 were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, with rates of 0.91 to 1.06 grams per liter of blood. In addition, another 20-year-old driver was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. In this same case, an 18-year-old woman was also arrested for possession of 0.3 grams of ketamine. It should be noted that both were tourists.
