The Special Poisons and Anti-Poaching Group of Rural Agents
The Special Poisons and Anti-Poaching Group (GEVA) of the Rural Agents has denounced three people from the same hunting group in Lluçà, as part of a surveillance and control service for big game in Lluçanès, for breaching the regulations and in relation to security.
Complaint for breach of hunting regulations
One of the reported individuals was driving on a local road during a wild boar raid with a loaded firearm, drawn and within reach of the driver, between the two front seats of the vehicle. In addition, he was also reported for hunting with an expired license and without authorization in a private hunting area. During the search of the vehicle, the officers also found two braons – traps for catching prohibited mammals – which can pose a danger to people’s safety.
Complaints for other violations
In the same service, the Rural Agents reported two more individuals: one for making improper use of a firearm in the immediate vicinity of a road where shooting is prohibited so as not to put road users at risk, for possession of an illegal magazine with ammunition capacity greater than authorized and for having shot a wild boar in a private hunting area without authorization. The third individual has also been reported for this last reason.
Commission of weapons and other illegal implements
In this way, several weapons, an illegal magazine, the prohibited traps for hunting mammals and other tools such as knives have been confiscated, as seen in the photo. These facts, as reported by the Rural Agents and according to current regulations, entail administrative and criminal responsibilities.
