Five roads blocked in Badajoz by farmers at the start of Wednesday

At the beginning of Wednesday, the province of Badajoz in Extremadura has been affected by farmers’ protests, which has led to the blocking of five roads in the region. These actions are part of a second day of demonstrations by farmers, who have expressed their discontent and concern about various issues related to their sector.

Roads affected

The roads that are blocked are the N-523 in La Roca de la Sierra, the N-432 in Torre de Miguel Sesmero, the N-430 between Santa Amalia and Hernán Cortés, the EX-300 in Almendralejo (San Marcos) and the same road in Talavera la Real.

Disruption of circulation

According to the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT), traffic is interrupted on the N-430 highway, from kilometer 92 in Santa Amalia to kilometer 95 in Hernán Cortés, in both directions. A total road closure has also been reported on the N-523 highway, from kilometer 50 to kilometer 48 towards Cáceres. In addition, traffic is interrupted on the N-432 at kilometer 30.2 in Torre de Miguel Sesmero towards Granada. In Almendralejo, the cut is at kilometer 55, and in Talavera on the same EX-300 at kilometer 25.5.

These protests have generated a significant impact in the Badajoz region, as they have affected traffic and caused inconvenience to drivers. It is important to highlight that these actions are part of a series of demonstrations carried out by farmers to express their concerns and demands related to their sector.
