Manlleu joins the Catalonia 2030 Alliance

Manlleu town council is committed to Agenda 2030

Manlleu, a municipality in Catalonia, has joined the Catalonia 2030 Alliance with the aim of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The mayor of this town, Àlex Garrido, has signed a commitment agreement to work towards the achievement of these objectives.

Collaboration with more than 60 organizations

In a meeting with representatives of more than 60 member organizations of the Catalonia 2030 Alliance, an action plan was established to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs. This plan includes quarterly meetings with all members and training initiatives to address key aspects of achieving the SDGs in a multi-sectoral manner.

City council commitment

The town council of Manlleu approved the accession to the Catalonia 2030 Alliance with the aim of meeting the ODS of the United Nations. This membership implies the achievement of 35 commitments in social, economic and environmental fields, which include a total of 122 actions.
