Entry into force of the new regulation
The new regulations governing activities in the Sorteny Valley Natural Park will come into force tomorrow. This regulation modifies aspects of articles 2, 3 and 4, which define minor, serious and very serious offences. In addition, new offenses are added that were not covered previously. Some of these restrictions are the result of the evolution of technology.
Prohibition of taking off drones
One of the new restrictions is a ban on taking off or landing drones throughout the park. However, prior authorization may be obtained from the municipality. However, it is totally prohibited to bathe or carry out activities in any aquatic environment of the natural space, such as ponds or rivers. Pets will also not have access to these spaces and you will not be able to fish with boots in the water.
Restrictions on skiing and other activities
The new regulation also places restrictions on cross-country skiing, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. These activities will be prohibited in different areas, such as the Rec del Rellotge and the Pic de la Cabaneta, the access road to the Plainell del Quer and the area up to the viewpoint of Grau de la Llosa, as well as the Alpine parts of El Forn and l’Estanyol and la Cebollera.
Minor offenses and penalties
The infractions mentioned above are considered minor. The fines for these violations range from 50 to 150 euros. In addition, the new regulation also includes changes to serious offences, which now include restrictions on motorhome parking in various areas of the park.
