Complaint against gender violence and local motions
On Thursday the 21st, the March plenary session took place in Sant Feliu de Llobregat. The session began with the monthly complaint against gender violence, presented by two representatives of the Women’s Council, Anna Mallofré and Alícia Feito. In addition, several local motions were presented.
Local level motions
During the plenary session, three local proposals were presented. Councilor for Equality, Feminism and LGBTI, Mònica Lafuente, read the Manifesto on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Also, a summary of the opinion of the Consultative Council of the Elderly of Baix Llobregat was presented and the adhesion to the Institutional Declaration of the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia on the occasion of the European Day in Remembrance for the Victims of Terrorism was approved .
Approval of the public prices of La Fira and political motions
In the area of Attention to Citizens and Open Administration, the public prices of this year’s Baix Llobregat Commercial and Industrial Fair were put to a vote. In addition, political motions related to economic issues and other areas were debated.
Proposals and approvals in other areas
Proposals related to the disability program, the municipal swimming pool of the Slaughterhouse, the property of La Unió Coral, the Normative Plan 2024/2025 and other matters of municipal interest were presented.
Motions of general scope and other outstanding issues
Motions of a general scope were debated, such as the reduction of the maximum legal working day for ordinary work, and other outstanding issues such as the extension of the contract for the cleaning service of municipal buildings and outbuildings.
Valuation of municipal groups
The different municipal groups expressed their opinions and assessments regarding the proposals and motions presented during the plenary session.
