A cycling party in Navata brings together 200 pedal lovers in its premiere

Oriol Colomé and Eva Martín triumph in a day full of cycling

200 cycling enthusiasts gathered last Sunday, April 14 in Navata to participate in the christening of the Penjamarrans, a race that attracted the maximum capacity of participants, as the organization allowed.

The course, designed for MTB and gravel bikes, offered options for all levels, from 24 to 90 kilometers.

Winners of the long test and other distances

In the main test of 90 kilometers, Oriol Colomé de Castelló won with a time of 3 hours and 41 minutes, closely followed by Xavier Amat and Adrià Maset. In the women’s category, Eva Martín de Roses was the only participant in her route with a time of 5 hours and 28 minutes.

Other distances also had their heroes and heroines, such as Lluís Duran, Miquel Bergadà, Ramon Batlle, Sònia Bassas, Olga Pulido and Susana Barris, among others.

Benefits for a noble cause

Beyond the competition, the event had a charitable purpose. Nearly 2,800 euros of profit will go to the Oncolliga Foundation, showing that cycling can be more than just a competition, it can also contribute to the well-being of the community.
