A Festí de flavors: The Calçotada del Vi in Gaià

An unforgettable event for wine and gastronomy lovers

On March 22, the Roman Columbari of Vila-rodona will become the stage for an essential date: the calçotada of the wine. Organized by the Gaià brand, this celebration stands out for joining two of the jewels of local gastronomy, calçot and wine, in an event that promises to be a festival of flavors.

A journey through the wine tradition

With a trajectory that covers more than eight centuries, the Gaià Valley has been a bastion in the production of wines. Since the Cistercian monks settled in the region, their influence has lasted. Today, the wineries of the Gaià brand, Guardians of this legacy, come together to offer a unique experience that complements the calçotada, an emblematic dish of the territory.

An irresistible offer

Attendees of the wine calçotada will have the opportunity to enjoy a ticket that includes: an unlimited tasting of almost 80 wines from 12 different wineries, and a selection of 6 creative dishes made by renowned chefs in the area. Exclusive activities have also been prepared to deepen the wine and gastronomic culture of the region.

Activities that will enrich the experience

In addition to the wine tasting, the wine calçotada offers a varied program of activities. Attendees will be able to participate in pairing workshops, sessions to learn how to make the perfect calçot sauce, and a bread mother dough workshop with the baker Jordi Gasque. The Wine Fair will be an opportunity to taste the best local products such as oils, nuts and sausages.

The prestigious chefs who will participate in the event will bring the calçotada to new levels, with prominent names such as Lola Altafulla and Pau Bigas, who will bring their creativity to the table.

Tickets and access

Tickets are now available, with a general price of € 90, and an early offer of € 70. There is also a ticket option at € 40, which will allow attendees to enjoy the unlimited wine tasting, with tapas available at an additional cost.

An event that celebrates the identity of the Gaià

The wine calçotada is not only an event to taste, but it is also a celebration of the culture, flavors and heritage of the Gaià region, within the framework of the events of the World Region of Gastronomy 2025. An opportunity to enjoy the best wine and savor the tradition in an unmatched environment.

With this experience, everyone is invited to toast through the Gaià and discover the authenticity of his flavors.
