Passion and Details
Esteve Manubens, resident in Santa Maria d’Oló, has presented his latest artistic collection in Sant Feliu under the title ‘Uma mirada al realisme’. In this new exhibition, the artist has explored the fusion of realism through the representation of portraits and still lifes, using various techniques such as charcoal, pastel and oil.
Manubens’ fondness for drawing dates back to his childhood, participating in local competitions from his early years. Later, he delved into the techniques of watercolor, oil and charcoal, moving between realism and hyperrealism.
Authentic portraits
The Manubens collection features portraits of prominent figures from the worlds of cinema, music and football, as well as anonymous people, capturing their personality through details, especially their gaze.
By combining various techniques, the artist seeks to highlight particular aspects in the portraits, giving them a unique authenticity.
Innovation and Tradition
In addition to the portraits, the exhibition includes classic still lifes with a touch of innovation, incorporating contemporary elements such as Coca-Cola cans painted in this style. You can also see natural and urban landscapes that reflect the diversity of their influences.
The exhibition ‘Uma mirada al realisme’ by Esteve Manubens will be open until April 21 in the Palau Falguera exhibition hall, inviting the public to appreciate this unique fusion of tradition and artistic innovation.
