A musical journey between poets: pocket music

An innovative musical experience

The Ateneu de Igualada Theater will host a musical event on February 21, 2025 that promises to be a real journey through poetry and music. Artists Toni Xuclà, Clàudia Cabero and Gemma Abrié unite to offer a unique proposal that fuses the voices of classic Catalan poets with those of new generations.

A meeting between generations

This performance will not only be limited to music, but will also seek to create a dialogue between the texts of the first Catalan poets and contemporary influences. Spectators will have the opportunity to see how the poetic tradition is transformed and adapted to current voices, offering a new perspective on Catalan culture.

A calendar full of cultural activities

February 21 will not be the only prominent day in Igualada. February is full of varied activities, including art exhibitions, social topics talks, and workshops for all ages. Among the proposals is the XII Biennial of Art Riudebitlles, which will present works of contemporary art and reflect on memory and identity.

Culture and Community: a double commitment

In addition to music and art, the Igualada cultural agenda includes initiatives to enhance the autonomy of people with cognitive impairment, emphasizing the importance of integrating culture into everyday life. Activities such as reading clubs and literary presentations encourage an atmosphere of participation and learning.

Reflections on the future of culture

Pocket music is not only a musical event, but a reflection of how culture can unite generations and enrich the lives of citizens. The ability of music and poetry to transcend time and space reminds us that creativity is a vital force in our society.
