A unique concert in the Auditorium
On March 28 and 29, the Sala Pau Casals of the Auditorium will host a special concert of the Barcelona and National Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia (OBC). Directed by Ludovic Morlot, the orchestra will have the collaboration of singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz, who will present ‘Magic Domain’, a new composition by guitarist and composer Feliu Gasull. Prior to the new creation, the OBC will perform three of the twelve Spanish dances of Enric Granados, adapted for orchestra by Joan Lamote de Grignon. Historians specify that, despite their youth, scores could have been refined in later stages of his career.

To end the evening, the music of Juli Garreta will take us to the Medes Islands, a symphonic work that captures the essence of the Mediterranean landscape. Released at the Palau de la Música, this piece evokes the wonders of the sea, the sky and the earth, and reflects Garreta’s passion for nature. His music, full of contrasts and textures, invites the listener to live a unique sensory experience that transcends the words.
