A New Era for the Metropolitan Culture of Barcelona

Recognized Initiative for Cultural Dissemination

The AMIC Cultura project, promoted by the Information and Communication Media Association (AMIC) in collaboration with the Diari Línea and various local cultural entities, has been distinguished with the Culture Channel Award. This initiative, part of the tourist sustainability plan in Barcelona, ​​is supported by the European Fund Next Generation, and has been acclaimed by its originality and potential impact.

OBJECTIVES AND VISION OF THE PROJECT

The friend Culture seeks to create a dynamic digital channel that connects the various cultural offers of Barcelona with a wider audience. Through the use of innovative formats and diverse platforms, this project aims to make accessible the cultural richness of the region, encouraging attractive content that captures the attention of new audiences.

Improvement of cultural cohesion

With the aim of promoting a better circulation of culture, AMIC CULTURE plans to promote indicators of cultural consumption and facilitate mobility within the metropolitan area. Thus, it seeks not only to strengthen territorial cohesion, but also to contribute to cultural diversity through the creation of contents that resonate with the community.

A sustainable commitment to culture

The friend, with more than 600 associated media, has been a key player in the development of cultural projects. His initiatives include Amics, one of the most important literary competitions for young people in Catalan, as well as a friend-director, which focuses on the creation of content for high school students and friendly friend-notes, designed for university students who work in digital formats.

Culture B: An innovative platform

The Line newspaper launched Culture B last June, a platform dedicated to metropolitan cultural trends. This unique proposal results in a printed quarterly magazine and a digital portal of constant updating, which seeks to give visibility to cultural events that are often in the shadow of traditional media. Culture B is born with the intention of overcoming the limitations of visibility suffered by many cultural initiatives and to expand the understanding of Barcelona.

The futur of culture to Barcelona

With the support of the Institute of Culture of Barcelona (ICUB), the prize seeks to stimulate the creation of a metropolitan channel for cultural dissemination that integrates the diversity of the cultural offer of the city. This initiative not only opens new doors to local culture, but also prepares the ground for a future in which creativity and inclusivity become the fundamental pillars of Barcelona society.
