An unforgettable event in Morell
On March 26, the Morell City Council hosted a remarkable event: the presentation of the Album of Collectible Chromos of the Tasta, a day care service that operates in the region of Tarragonès. This celebration brought together children and adolescents from the towns of Morell and La Pobla de Mafumet, with the possibility of virtually connecting with other participants of similar initiatives.
The album: an innovative teaching resource
The chrome album comes as a didactic tool designed to encourage inclusion and group cohesion. Through the characters of the Tastera gang, seven children with various capacities and cultural backgrounds, essential values such as friendship and diversity are promoted. All the protagonists, with an age of about 10 years, live adventures that reinforce healthy habits and positive behaviors.
A collection of values and superpowers
With a total of 72 chromos to exchange and collect, children can enjoy two categories: character chromos that have six ‘superpowers’, such as creativity and emotion, and stickers that help complete the album. This dynamic not only stimulates fun, but also enhances learning through play.
More than an album: an integral project
The Tasta project is not limited to the album. It also includes a game desk that represents the region of Tarragonès, with dice cut -out and recycling stickers, which help to create traditional games. This approach seeks to foster the social skills and personal identity of the participants, promoting the knowledge of their environment.
A path of growth and inclusion
The tasting has grown significantly since its inception in 2013, when it began in four municipalities. Now, it is a service model that covers the needs of all the municipalities of the basic social services area, being a pioneer in Catalonia in its capacity to reach every corner of the region.
A positive impact on the community
With about 3,000 children and their families who have gone through the tasting, and more than sixty professionals involved, this service has not only contributed to social integration but also served as a platform for professional learning. The councils have been key members on this trip, providing the resources necessary for their development.
A future full of possibilities
With initiatives such as the tasting chromos album, diversity is shown to be a source of richness that enriches the community. This project not only seeks to entertain but also to educate, build strong identities and foster a sense of belonging among the younger ones. The tasting will continue to be a fundamental pillar in the future of social integration in the Tarragonès.
