A night of shouts and whistles: the contest that excites the main party

An event that recovers traditions

Plaça de les Eres is preparing to host one of the most anticipated activities of the festival: the Shout and Whistle Contest. After four years of continuous success, Ràdio premium.cat has decided to keep this tradition alive, which was revitalized in 2020, offering a show full of fun and talent.

Categories and prizes for everyone

In this fifth edition, participants will be able to compete in two categories: under 12 and over 12. The contestants will show their skills in shouting and whistling, with the intensity measured by a sound meter. In addition, special prizes will be added for the most original screams and whistles, evaluated by a jury of attendees of the same night.

Awards and local support

The winners will be able to enjoy vouchers valued at between 20 and 30 euros to spend in local shops, thanks to the support of the City Council. This promotion of local commerce is a prominent aspect of the event.

Expectations of a large attendance

With more than 40 participants last year, the organization expects the attendance to be just as impressive this year. In addition to the competition, attendees will be able to participate in several raffles that will be held during the night, thus increasing the excitement of the event.

Preparations for the magical night

Attendees wishing to enjoy a hot dog sandwich during the event must purchase a ticket in advance. Tickets are available at various local outlets, with a total of 1,000 tickets on sale. It is recommended to purchase them quickly to ensure a place at the table.

An unforgettable party ending

The night will conclude with a cover concert by La Divand, followed by a DJ Set that promises to get everyone dancing. With such a varied program, the Screaming and Whistling Contest is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the festival.
