A game full of key moments
Last Saturday, March 15, the Municipal Pavilion of Valldoreix hosted an exciting match between the Sant Cugat Volleyball Club and the Avarca de Menorca, which concluded with a 1-3 defeat for local players. Despite the loss, the SantCugatenques showed a great determination and an admirable teamwork throughout the game.
A promising start
The first set started favorablely for CV Sant Cugat, which took an initial advantage. However, the Menorcan players reacted rapidly, causing an exciting spread exchange. The player Ana Cecilia appeared stood out with its powerful shots, who were crucial to secure a tight 27-25 in the first set.
A second set defyte
In the second set, CV Sant Cugat fought with difficulty. The Menorcan, currently second in the standings, demonstrated their quality with a glittering beginning, marking five consecutive points.
