A season full of creativity at the Mas Miró Foundation

A diversified program for everyone

As the Mas Miró Foundation approaches its most active period of the year, it has designed a calendar of activities that promises to attract visitors of all ages. With an expanded offer and various initiatives, the cultural space seeks not only to entertain, but also to educate and inspire.

Emblematic activities and news

Following the trend of previous seasons, the Foundation will continue to offer traditional guided tours, including the dramatized ones that allow visitors to experience the experience in an immersive way. One of the outstanding activities is ‘Miró i el Vi’, which combines art with a wine tasting in collaboration with local wineries. This proposal will be expanded with new experiences focused on families.

Familiar collage taller

On Friday, April 18, the Foundation will present a collage workshop where children and adults will be able to explore the artistic technique inspired by the work of Joan Miró. This activity will allow participants to create their own works of art, while discovering the spaces that inspired the artist during their summers in the farmhouse.

Interactive theater: ‘The artist’s drawer’

On April 19, the company La Genovesa will present ‘The drawer of the artist’, a show that promises to captivate the attendees through stories and objects related to Miró’s life. This unique proposal seeks to stimulate the curiosity and active participation of the public, with functions every 45 minutes.

Open Day

On Sunday, April 20, to coincide with the 132nd anniversary of the birth of Joan Miró and the beginning of visits to the public, the Foundation will offer an open day. Visitors will freely explore the house, the workshop and the gardens from 10am to 2pm.

New opening hours

From April 15, the Mas Miró Foundation will extend its opening hours. Visitors will be able to access the place from Tuesday to Saturday, with morning sessions and evenings dedicated to art and culture. On Sundays the schedule will be limited to the morning, while Mondays will be closed.

Practical information

The places for the activities are limited, so it is recommended to purchase the tickets through the official website www.masmiro.com. This is a unique opportunity to experience Miró’s art in an interactive and enriching way.
