A spectacular start for the casteller season

Highlights highlighted in the range of castles

In this day of Rams, three groups surprised the premiere of the range of 8. Marrecs de Salt, Colla Joves and Children del Vendrell have been the protagonists of the most impressive performances of the weekend. More than forty new buildings have been presented for around twenty groups, marking a vibrant season start.

Salt Morocco and his impressive debut

The Morocco de Salt, located in the sixth place in the ranking, have made a castle of 8 with the complete large cart, as well as a 3de8 that they have built in half. This performance has allowed them to make a significant leap in the classification.

Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls: A performance worth mentioning

The Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls has taken a step in front of 4de8 and 2de7, standing in the seventh place and pairing with the groups of Gràcia and the historic dean of Barcelona. His performance has been a reflection of the constant work and the high quality of his constructions.

Vendrell Children: Opening the course

With a 4de8 as a flag, the children of El Vendrell have inaugurated their season with a performance that has not gone unnoticed. In a panorama where the highest level groups maintain their position, children have shown that they are competitors to take into account.

Competition becomes more intense

Five groups have presented castles of the Middle Gamma of 7, with the Sagals d’Osona completing a 5de7 and incorporating a 7de7, thus equalizing the constructions of the groups of Sant Cugat and Lleida. The Bordegassos de Vilanova and the Xiquets de Tarragona have also stood out with their respective 7 of 7.

Significant updates

The Xicots de Vilafranca have renewed their repertoire with a 5de7, while the Tirallongues of Manresa have presented a 4de7 with a needle, one of their best castles of the previous year.

Releases in low range

Between the groups with basic 7, the Castellers d’Esplugues introduced a 3de6, while the children of the Serrallo have added a 4de7. The Margeners de Guissona, meanwhile, stood out with a pillar of 5 that was a highlight of the day.

A panorama with many expectations

The Estrella Barometer, which includes the three best buildings of each group, has reached a total of 75 groups before Easter. This tool allows you to closely follow the evolution and aspirations of the groups in the current season.
