A United Catalonia: Prioritizing Collaboration and Understanding

Defense of an Inclusive Vision

The candidate of the Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya (PSC) in the Catalan elections, Salvador Illa, has expressed his desire to promote a Generalitat that prioritizes cooperation and dialogue, leaving aside veto practices.

In a statement made in Igualada (Barcelona), Illa highlighted the importance of not emphasizing the divisions between Catalans, but rather what unites them.

Fostering Collaboration

The socialist candidate has emphasized his preference for a policy based on collaboration between the different administrations and the public, stating that this approach allows achieving more results than confrontation.

According to Illa, it is essential to prioritize agreements over vetoes, putting the collective interests of Catalan society in the foreground.

Building a Joint Future

In relation to the issue of amnesty, the candidate has expressed his intention to seek unity to close one stage and open another, emphasizing the normalization and overcoming of past conflicts.

Likewise, he has reiterated his opposition to any initiative that could generate division, hinting at a position contrary to the holding of a unilateral referendum.
