The Montserrat Massif: A World of Magical Silhouettes
Montserrat, with its varied forms, is a natural spectacle that captivates all who observe it. From various points, the mountain reveals fascinating aspects of its geography, such as the image of a dragon with a watchful eye and a beak carved into the rock. The perspective from Manresa, with its imposing spires, is a reminder of the power and beauty of this environment.
An Unmissable Repte: Montserrat, Integral 107
Biel Macià and Enric Vilajosana, two young people from Manresa born in 1997, conceived an ambitious project: to climb the 107 peaks of Montserrat in just one week. This challenge is not only a testament to their adventurous spirit, but is also part of the celebration of the Millenary of Montserrat.
Preparations and Challenges
After two years of intensive work and collaboration with expert guides, the climbers culminated their adventure in the summer of 2021. This experience, however, is not limited to the ascent of the peaks, but is transformed into a narrative rich in emotion and reflection, interspersed with moments of preparation, nighttime conversations and laughter.
A Documentary That Captures the Essence of Adventure
Montserrat, Integral 107 is a documentary that stands out for its dynamic and emotional narrative. The film not only portrays the climbing, but also the family bonds, the aspirations of future climbers and the voices of veterans who share a special connection with this mystical mountain.
A Journey of Respect and Passion
The protagonists not only seek to conquer the peaks for personal glory, but also want to express their respect for nature and promote values such as teamwork and perseverance. At the end of the day, they reunite with the team, exhausted but full of life, immersed in an experience that connects them with the natural world.
A Visual and Musical Show
Visually, the film is a spectacle. With images captured by drones and point-and-shoot cameras, unprecedented angles are presented that reveal the grandeur of Montserrat. Cameramen Joel Badia and David Escobar share the same challenges as the climbers, bringing a unique perspective to their work.
Music as a Narrator
The soundtrack, created by Arnau Ferrer, accompanies the images with an emotional depth that resonates with each scene. The music not only complements the images, but transforms them, creating an atmosphere that transports the viewer to the very essence of Montserrat.
An Unforgettable Cinematic Experience
Montserrat, Integral 107 is a film that appeals to both climbing enthusiasts and urban viewers, as long as they are willing to let themselves be carried away by the emotions. With screenings scheduled in several locations, it is a unique opportunity to experience a story that combines beauty, effort and humanity.
