In total, 21 groups have presented significant new features, highlighting the first castles of 8, with memorable performances of Minyons de Terrassa and Moixiganguers de Igualada. In addition, the Swiss group Castellers de Zürich has made their entrance to the casteller world with castles of 6.
Minyons of Terrassa at the helm
The Minyons de Terrassa have set the pace of the day with their double basic castles of 8, thus occupying a prominent position in the barometer. It is important to mention that the previous year, they did not reach these castles until mid -April, showing a significant breakthrough in their preparation.
The debut of new gangs and the middle range
In addition to the Minyons, the Moixiganguers de Igualada have not been left behind, also released a double of 8 and a 7de7. The Castellers de Cerdanyola, with their 4de7, have managed to equal their best post -pandemic records, while other groups such as the Estany’s Esperxats and the Tirallongues of Manresa have added new features to their repertoire. Also, the Castellers de Cornellà and the Castellers de Lleida have started their season with a solid 3de7.

In the field of castles of 6, several new features have been presented with groups such as the Margeners de Guissona, the Castellers de Badalona and the Castellers de Santpedor. The Bordegassos de Vilanova also stood out with a 4de6 on their first day, while other groups have released with the minimum triad.
The international debut of the Castellers of Zürich
A highlight was the staging of the Castellers de Zürich, who made their first 6 castles in Switzerland, thus marking their official presentation. This group becomes the first formation outside of Spain to contribute to Barometer 2025, opening the door to the internationalization of the casteller world.
