Alcoi is enveloped in the magic of Christmas

Start of the Christmas Holidays

Christmas arrives in Alcoy with a festive atmosphere that promises to illuminate the city from Wednesday, November 27. On this day, the facade of the City Hall will become the backdrop for the poster of the Cavalcade of the Three Wise Men, created by the artist Ángel Ligero, while the Christmas lights will be switched on to welcome the holidays.

Christmas Market: A Space of Tradition and Innovation

One of the most anticipated events of the season is the Christmas Market, which will be held in La Glorieta Park. This year, visitors will be able to enjoy two weeks of market, with dates including November 29th to December 1st and December 6th to 8th, offering more opportunities to discover local products.

Attractions and Activities for the Whole Family

With a total of 40 stalls, the Market offers a wide variety of Christmas products from local merchants. In addition, the little ones can enjoy a free playroom with various games, a Christmas photocall and craft workshops. Ecological attractions, such as trampolines and mini golf, promise fun for the whole family.

Cultural Programming and Shows

To complement the experience of the Market, a rich cultural program has been prepared. On Friday the 29th, visitors will be able to enjoy a Christmas dance, and on Saturday, the Market will be officially inaugurated with dance and music performances that will make La Glorieta vibrate.

Attention-grabbing shows

Magic and storytelling shows will alternate throughout the weekend, with figures such as Mag Ualà and Silvia Colomer captivating the audience with their performances. Traditions are kept alive through the music of local groups that bring a special touch to Alcoy Christmas.

An Apotheotic Ending

The second weekend of the market will continue with more storytelling and musical performances, including the Trombone Quartet of the Alcoi Symphony Orchestra, who will close the festivities with a memorable concert. Christmas activities in Alcoi not only celebrate Christmas, but also strengthen the community and promote local culture.
